All Heartwood in the Hills classes include study in anatomy and conservation education.

Maskmaking with Jude Binder
Maskmaking will be held on Friday evenings and will kick off with a Plaster of Paris Workshop
on Saturday, Set. 11, from 2 to 5:30 p.m.
Weekly Class Schedule *Indicates this class is open to non-Dance Company students with previous dance experience and class is also a required Dance Company class.
There are no auditions to join the Dance Company but students must desire to learn
to dance and must commit to attend all classes and rehearsals for the December CelebrationMONDAY
Dance Company Entry Level Theatre Dance for Kids - Ages 9 and up. Instructor Jude Binder. 4:45 - 6:15 p.m. Theatre Dance classes combine diverse areas of study: Stagecraft and performance skills, mask work (acting) and dance - breathing, balance, flexibility, control, stamina, creative expression and the unique joys of movement and performance. Fee - $50.00
TUESDAY
Creative Arts for Children- Ages 5 to 7. Instructor Jude Binder.
4:45 - 5:45 p.m. Fee -$36 00 plus $10 materials fee.

Instructor Jude Binder. - 6:15 - 7:45 p.m. Modern, Caribbean, Ballet, International Folk Dance Technique. Fee - $70.00
WEDNESDAY
Creative Arts for Kids - Ages 8 and up. Instructor Jude Binder.

Movement for Health and Centering - Teens and Adults.
Instructor Jude Binder. 6:15 - 7:45 p.m. Fee - $70. 00
THURSDAY
Morning Movement for Health and Centering - Adults and Seniors.
Instructor Jude Binder. 10:30- 11:30 a.m. A one hour modified Movement for Health and Centering class. Fee - $70.00

Mask Making - Teens, adults and seniors. Children under 14 must be
accompanied by an adult helper. Instructor Jude Binder. 7 - 9:30 p.m.
Fee - $75 plus $15 materials fee.
Plaster of Paris Workshop
The first class for the Fall Mask Making will be a Plaster of Paris workshop on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010 from 2 to 5:30 p.m.
The first step in tarlatan mask making is the creation of a plaster positive (model) of your face. We’ll make positives for everyone.
Please call Heartwood (304)354-7874 and ask for a materials list of supplies to bring with you for this workshop. All remaining classes will be held on Friday evenings at 7 p.m. These classes will last anywhere from 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours, depending on the activity of the evening. Special attendance arrangements can be made for students traveling far. It will be possible for students to do some work at home.
