During the winter months, Heartwood remains a valuable resource for the community.  Heartwood offers classes for advanced students and provides them with performance opportunities at city venues.  The artistic director also works individually with students to prepare them for college and professional training site auditions and portfolio reviews.  This preparation produces results.
