CREATIVE ARTS FOR CHILDREN – 4:30pm – 5:30pm. Ages 5-7.
Singing, dancing, art projects, creative dramatics, music making, masks, international folk dance, conservation education. Suggested donation, $60.00. Materials fee, $10.00
THEATRE FOR KIDS CLASS 1 – WOOD FESTIVAL PERFORMANCE TEAM – DANCE, MASK AND PANTOMIME - 4:45pm – 6:15pm – Ages 10 & up.
Learn how to perform on the stage. Requirements are ENERGY, ATTENTION, and IMAGINATION. Suggested donation, $90.00.
TUESDAY DANCE CLASS – 6:45pm – 8:30pm. Ages teens, adults, and seniors.
Previous dance study is required. Hone your technical skills and improve your balance, coordination, flexibility, and stamina. Barre, floor, center and across the floor, stretch, balance, turn, jump! Study will include dance anatomy and vocabulary. Suggested donation, $100.00.
MOVEMENT FOR HEALTH & CENTERING - 6:00pm – 7:30pm. Ages teens, adults, and seniors.
Lessons to improve breathing, balance, coordination, flexibility, and stress management. Anatomy study included. No previous dance study required. Comfortable clothing i.e. sweat pants, t-shirt, etc., and bare feet. Suggested donation, $90.00
THEATRE FOR KIDS CLASS 2 – WOOD FESTIVAL PERFORMANCE TEAM – ACTING AND STAGE CRAFT - 4:45pm – 6:15pm. Ages 10 and up.
Studies in voice, theatre games, improvisation, theatre history and vocabulary. Suggested donation - $90.00.
INTRODUCTION TO DANCE FOR KIDS – 4:45pm – 6:15pm. Ages 8 & 9.
First steps in dance study, including alignment, Ballet positions, steps and vocabulary, creative movement and improvisation, folk dance, and dance anatomy. Classes will focus on the joy of dancing while building strength, control, balance, musicality, and flexibility. Suggested donation, $75.00.
